These things are pretty cool. The double sided tape is horrible though so buy your own 3m good stuff. They use a magnet to turn off so you’re door panel and the door frame need to have a space when closed for the light and magnet to connect to each other.The image is exactly what I sent in. My only gripe is they use batteries and can’t be hard wired in. 3 AAA batteries are needed for each one.Easiest instructions to install...Hope in your car and close the door with some Painters tape.Run a line of Tape along the door frame as a guide.Open the door at nighttime and keep the bottom of the lightbox on the bottom of your tape line and see where it looks the best. (You can duct tape it temporarily to test ipening and closing the door to see if it hits anything.)Mark a pencil line on both sides of the tape.Hop inside the car and close the door to see if you have an area to mount the magnet right underneath where the light box is on the door frame.Once you find the best spot out your own 3m doublesided tape on the box and magnet and leave a tiny gap so it doesn’t rub when opening and closing the door. I wish I could give this 10 stars. I hate Valentine’s Day and can’t stand buying lame gifts for it, so it is my mission in life to make it fun for me and my husband. I came across this little gem on TikTok and knew it was meant to be. I took a ridiculous photo of myself and ordered right away. I installed it on my husbands truck (6 AAA batteries and some high quality tape) and BOOM. Best Vday ever. It scared the hell out of him. I wish his reaction was caught on camera. That is my only regret. Do it. It’s worth it.Def use gorilla tape or 3M tape. The tape that comes with it isn’t strong at all. Read more

Although the graphic display is absolutely fantastic, the adhesive is worthless for my car. I had to buy abetter adhesive. And the tiny magnet to turn it off useless unless it's held right under the sensor as in touching. I will have to buy a stronger magnet as I tested it with a larger one and that worked but I need a flat one with more force than this microscopic magnet. If this manufacturer would invest in realistic adhesive and a better magnet I would pay more. Because buying a product should function as described. Ground breaking idea. Read more
