There is a noticeable difference with wind noise and slight with road noise. The kit takes about an hour to install. The tape is 3M like, but doubtful to be the real deal. Still it's very sticky. For PREP, I used a car surface cleanser spray 1st, rubbing alcohol spray next, then used the included adhesion promoter. The promoter leaves a tacky surface on the paint. Then peal and stick. Watch RPM Tesla Model 3 & Y Road Noise Reduction Kit - Gen. 2 Video on Youtube for great instructions on how to install as it's not intuitive, nor do the instructions explain much. Looks to be the same kit they sell, but half or 3rd of the price.The wifie did notice the quieter ride in the car too. So far I bought the top glass gasket, and bought Amazon sound deadening large pack and did the trunk and frunk, and this kit did about as much as both of those as far as quieting the ride inside. Very pleased with this kit. And for those that couldn't make it stick, prep is key. Also they include a roll of tape to restick if you have probs. Takes 3 days for tape to cure so don't use car too much during that time.One more thing, bottom of doors have 2 cutouts for water drainage coming from the windows above. I cut the strip on that part and continued after it otherwise it looks to plug up the holes. Read more

I recently purchased this product, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The quality of the product was subpar, with some pieces appearing cheaply made. The packaging was inadequate. Some pieces were torn apart.Moreover, several pieces were stuck together with adhesive, which raises concerns about the care taken during the packing process. To add to the frustration, the package was missing some essential pieces, rendering the product incomplete and unusable.To make matters worse, some of the included pieces were broken, which indicates a lack of quality control from the seller. This experience has been disappointing, and I would caution potential buyers to consider these issues before making a purchase.I hope this feedback will prompt the seller to improve their product quality, packaging, and overall customer satisfaction. The adhesive on the strips worked great. They were pretty easy to work with and had nicely finished edges. Sound reduction was noticeable immediately and it feels like the car experience I expected - Tire noise from other cars was coming in through the rear of the front doors by the B pillar really badly, and now itâs almost completely gone.1 star off because the directions were not specific to the car so I had to trim ends at times just using my gut. The hood and trunk instructions were pretty unclear. Iâm not sure Iâm getting a benefit on those surfaces. Read more

So. The direction that came with the kit are very vague ,had to you tube a few videos to find out where some of the strips went. After that and a very slight learning curve the install went smooth. As for as the difference in noise while driving. Awesome and very noticeable. Itâs a great inexpensive solution to a big issue. Read more

This is a great product if you can get it to stay stuck. It has come off on my trunk, doors and even caused my fronk sensor to show open all the time. I would steer clear of this product as it could cost you a couple hundred dollars in repairs. Read more
