Got this for the car as we carry nalgenes for water everywhere. It holds so tight in the cup holder with grips on the outside. You can pick up the Nalgene easily with no grip. Easy to install with light push into holder. Removing takes a bit more effort but thatâs good for functionality. Great value and sturdy plastic. Read more

I just received this yesterday and put it in my car today. The adapter fits nice and snug in the car cupholder. (I have a 2014 Camry). I have a 32 oz water bottle and I filled it up all the way and tried it out. It fits perfectly in the adapter. I spent about 3 hours driving today and did not have any issues. My bottle stayed in the adapter and the adapter stayed in the car cupholder. No wobbling around. Water bottle can be removed with one hand, so it can be used while driving. I almost didn't buy this because of some bad reviews, but I was tired of my water bottle rolling around on my passenger seat so I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I bought it. It's a great product. Using in a 2015 Nissan AltimaFits extremely snugly in the standard cup holders (almost too snug but I'll get to that), and is big enough to hold even the largest bottles, like full sized Gatorade and Body Armors, however, the damn thing is just so tall and conspicuous.Seriously, I appreciate the function over form approach, but it could likely be half as tall and work just about as well. It also has a smaller hole in the center, whose purpose appears to be to save material during production, but it's also a magnet for dirt, change, and other small things that tend to accumulate in cup holders, and requires completely removing the device in order to clean it out. Considering how snugly the thing fits, sometimes it feels like I'm going to break my console removing it, sometimes. The rubber bumpers also aren't all that sturdy, and if you're using it to hold an open can or glass that's too thin for it, there's a risk of small amounts of spillage due to the design.But with all that said, it still performs the function it's built for about as well as one could hope, and it's definitely sturdy. If you're using this in a work truck or your favorite larger cup, it's a great solution. I'd like to see an improved version with smaller vehicles and ergonomics in mind Read more

I had tried another cup holder expander and it was a disaster. While it said it would hold a 40 oz. container (like my ThermoFlask), the holder itself was wider at the top and narrowed as it went down, so that my bottle would only go down partway, was hard to pull out, and was unstable as well! Awful! This design, by contrast, rests in the cupholder of my 2011 Honda CRV very well. The instructions and some of the reviews say to take out some of the rubber tabs for larger bottles, but that has not been necessary for mine. It holds my bottle well and doesnât stick up too high. And the base is much more secure than I would have expected. Donât waste money on a more complicated design when this one works so well! Also, I appreciate the clear listing on the Amazon product page that tells you what cars it wonât work with - more manufacturerâs should follow their example! I have a 32 oz wide mouth Hydro Flask that fits in this thing nicely. But:-The rubber grips around the rim have come out, thankfully theyâre easy to put back in.-The grip in the bottom of the cup is easily removed.-One push and the whole thing is launched out of my cup holder.-I go to take my bottle out of it and it is somehow stuck to the bottle and comes out of the carâs cupholder.Maybe my car just has weirdly large cupholders? Not sure. But this thing would be great if the bottom that goes into the car cup holder was adjustable or something. Read more

I love this cup holder, I was given a Stanley cup and when i tried to transport it to and from work it was a hassle. I have and Infiniti QX50 and the cup holders are not big enough to hold it, this cup holder expander helped with the problem. sometimes i have to readjust it so it doesn't fall out, but its pretty good at staying put for the most part. This cup holder expander works really well! It fits perfectly in the front cup holders of my vehicle, securely holding larger cups and bottles without any wobbling. However, I was disappointed to find that it doesnât fit the rear cup holders. Unfortunately, Iâll have to look for another product for the seats in the back. Overall, itâs a great product for the front, just be mindful of compatibility with different cup holder sizes in your vehicle.TLDR: This cup holder expander is great for front cup holders, but doesnât fit the rear ones in my vehicle.
