I don't know what else to say, it's a good port converter. Doesn't get too hot, easy to pull out of the car, good tolerances on the manufacturing, and functions as expected. This review is for the LENZ CCS1 to Tesla Adapter purchased for $79.99 in September of 2024.I borrowed my friend's CSS1 adapter to test out using the Electrify America stations and it worked pretty well. Wanted the ability to charge at Electrify America as a backup to the Tesla Supercharger stations as well but Tesla was sold out of the $125 adapter in their online store.Saw this LENZ CCS1 to Tesla Adapter on Amazon for $79.99 (with $10 coupon) with free shipping and decided to give a try. Was immediately impressed. Adapter was very heavy (like the Tesla branded adapter), the plastic housing was solid, and came with a very handsome carrying case. Went to my local Electrify America 350kW charging station and plugged in. I got up to 150kW charging speed with the adapter. During the charge the adapter never got hot to the touch. I wouldn't be surprised if this adapter isn't the same OEM product Tesla is selling.Overall, a highly recommend. Saved quite a bit of money over the Tesla CSS1 adapter and got a case thrown in. Tried it with my 2023 Model Y on a Chargepoint fast charger with 30kwh speed. Worked great. Did not heat up. It’s a bit heavy so unplugging took some effort probably because it was my first time. Will update this review after I try it at Electrify America or EVGo chargers. Read more

So short story on this. I recently bought a 2022 Tesla model 3 and was using this adapter for a 3rd party charging station. I used this station quite frequently until the charger overloaded my car and fried quite a bit of electronics. Tesla refused to warranty my car because of using a 3rd party charger and adapter. This didn't feel like a $36 piece of plastic, it feels like a $200 OEM device. Very solid, weighty, and quality feeling.Works perfectly, you'd be foolish to not keep one of these in your car so you can access every public charger type and not just TeslasOne note: I found unlatching the charger and removing it will leave this adapter behind, locked in the car port. You need to push the unlatch button and release before pulling the charging handle out.And don't forget to take your adapter with you. Read more
