Sure, you want something to protect the factory lining, but what? Plastic trays, mats, or what? Stop right here, this is the answer (in my opinion). Installs easily, still easy to get at the compartments below. Goes up the sides a bit for extra protection. Stays in place when you raise or lower seats or compartments. And...it looks good! I wanted some sort of pet liner for the cargo area of my new Model Y, since we have a German Shepherd who sheds like crazy and I wanted to avoid the pain of regularly digging dog hair (and dirt) out of the carpet. There are so many options out there, most well over $100, that I figured I’d try something more affordable first to check it out.Happily, this fits the bill pretty well! It completely covers the cargo floor and the seat backs, and folds up brilliantly when the seats are in an upright position (no wrinkling or stretching). With the seats down, everything is similarly fully covered.It’s a little thin, but seems sturdy enough and looks like it’ll be easy to clean.Installation took maybe 5 minutes. Just put the seats down flat, spread it out, and press to adhere the Velcro on the bottom. Doesn’t seem like it’ll move once it’s in place, but it was also fairly easy to pull up and reposition to get a perfect fit.Doggo tested it out and it seems comfy, not too slick or slippery for him. Two paws up!My one wish — and the reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 — was that the side flaps would come up higher. The seller photos show hard plastic on the interior sides of the cargo area, but in my car, they are also covered in carpeting material; same for the two wells on each side of the cargo area. So there will definitely need to be some dog hair extraction/cleaning needed in those areas, which is a bummer (especially since the wells are awkward and hard to get into to clean). Maybe this was a change for 2024, or it’s specific to my model, but I wonder if the manufacturer was aware of this.However, overall, it’s a solid option for a cargo liner! Will see how it holds up over time, but for now, it’s almost perfect for my needs and was a fair buy. Read more

Fits really well, it also stays in place. I have my large dog in the back and the material is holding up well. It vacuums easily and has been stain resistant. The only thing it doesn’t do is cover the side pockets. I purchased covers for them (from a different company) that are carpeted and I wish this protected them as well. The last consideration is that it’s a little slippery for my dog bed if the bed doesn’t have grippers on the bottom. Works great for loading and unloading things in the back of the car but something to be aware of. I would highly recommend. Read more

This cover is great, especially if you plan to transport pets or use the trunk area for larger items (bikes, golf clubs, etc.) Installation was easy enough. It has great coverage, I especially love the fact that it protects the back side of the rear seats. As with other reviews the issue of the velcro being super strong is correct. You just have to be careful when installing because the velcro will attach strongly wherever it touches the carpet, and yes if you try and "rip" the cover off the carpet it will damage the carpet. When trying to separate the velcro just slide your hand in under the cover and detach the velcro with your fingers using the least amount of force possible. I would not suggest this cover if you plan to install and remove it often.Other things you should know: Install these with the back seats folded down, and when you fold the seats back up tuck the cover into the crease, just looks cleaner and doesn't have a "bulge" at the fold area. Also access to the smaller storage area (where I keep my mobile charger/case), just above the trunk storage area is a little hard to access without removing the cover. I can just barely lift the cover and hatch high enough to slide the mobil connector in its case, into that space without having to undo any of the velcro tabs. Access to trunk storage is unaffected and easy. Read more
