Wow, I just installed two wheels/tires on my BMW 328xi and it couldn't have gone easier. The hanger threaded in fine (a little rough on the 1st wheel but I was able to turn it past the roughness by hand) andit was easy to hang the wheel. The BMW has a really tight centering ring and once the wheel was in against the hub, the ring took the weight. Four lug bolts went in by hand until they seated and the hanger was free to back out. Added the fifth lug bolt, torqued it all and done. Wish I'd bought one of these earlier. One is enough unless you have two people doing the work. Read more

This pin fits my 2017 Audi Q7 just fine, as I assumed it would. It would be nice if it was a tiny bit longer. That would make it easier to unscrew after the wheel is back on and the other 4 lug bolts are installed but the knurled tip seems to work OK. Other wheel designs might not be an issue as they are all different. The pin that came in my original manufacturer's tool kit was aluminum. The first and only time I used it, it got stuck in the threads requiring a pipe wrench to remove, damaging it beyond reuse. Dissimilar metals will do that. Don't know why Audi put that in their kit. I guess it is all about saving weight, even if the pin doesn't work well. This item is steel and shouldn't cause any problems getting stuck. It should last for a long time. If you are not fussed about the black finish coming off immediately, it is a good piece to have if you do your own wheel work. Read more

I had invented these in my imagination and just before making some of my own found these already made. These pins hold the wheel in place so that you don't have to try to balance a heavy wheel on a thin edge while simultaneously trying to properly thread in the bolts. Worth every penny! Read more

I should have got one of these long ago, as it makes it a LOT easier to change the wheels on my Volvo. It's aluminum, not steel as advertised, but so far has been strong enough for the job. And it comes in a sturdy bright yellow plastic bag so it's easy to find in my trunk. Read more
